With the map selected and the strategies discussed one last time, the 7th round of the B-Rank wars is all set to begin! The previous episode revealed the location of the round, i.e, Cityscape D, chosen by Suzunari 1. World Trigger Season 3 Episode 4 is set to release on the 31st of October 2021 under the title “Secret Plan”. You catch the new episode on Crunchyroll every Sunday at 2:30 am PST.

World Trigger Season 3 Episode 3 Recap

Here’s a look at what happened in the previous episode of World Trigger.

After discussing whether to stick to their map or not, team Suzunari 1 decided to not change maps. It was announced that the location for the upcoming round was Cityscape D. The commentator explained that the map is small with tall buildings that had large spaces inside. The map was revealed to be an unsuitable map for most teams. 

With this, team Tamakoma 2 began analyzing the map. With snipers making quick work of people on the streets, teams usually use the mall for cover. This makes the central shopping mall the prime location for all fights that take place. They realize that the enemies will take risks in order to get closer to their targets. Osamu speculates that the map isn’t meant for snipers. However, Hyuse reminds Osamu that Azuma shot through the wall at long range in the previous battle.

But unlike last time, the map was not chosen by Azuma Squad, and Azuma will not have an advantage as he did previously. On the other hand, Kuga is worried that Suzunari 1 has picked an anti-sniper map when they also have a sniper. Osamu agrees with him and tells the team to be careful of their mysterious strategy.    

Osamu further explained their plan for the first phase of the battle. He revealed that they would no longer be using the wire tactic. Even though it had helped them win two matches, he explained that this time the map was small with tall buildings which means that the strategy won’t work. The map had only two places to set up the wires and neither of them will be effective. This is because every team had a sniper and can shoot outside the wired area. 

With the match almost about to begin, Osamu informed the team that they need to get as many points as possible from the four teams. Ninomya, Kaguera, Ikoma Suzunari 1, Oji, and Azuma are the squads competing. Those teams are aware of their predicament, and Tamakoma 2 must pass Kageura in the following two games.

What To Expect In World Trigger Season 3 Episode 4

The upcoming episode is based on chapter 166 of the anime’s manga series. For the fans who have not read the manga, the 7th round of the B-Rank wars will begin in the upcoming chapter. Each team will be teleported to the location of the match. However, each member will be teleported to a different location and we will see them try and regroup with their teammates in the next episode.

The upcoming episode will also feature a fierce battle between members of  Kageura squad and Suzunari-1. Also, just as Osamu had predicted, we will get to see most of the actions taking place in the central shopping mall. We will get to see an all out battle among all the teams as they head towards the mall.
