The thing that got us interested in the Small Council scenes other than the time Daemon provoked Otto Hightower wildly was when they placed a crystal ball-like structure before the seven seats on the table.

While we have no idea what the crystal ball symbolizes and why they have it placed, particularly when they are only seated, for instance, when Daemon was seen missing from his seat at the council in the first Small Council meeting in the first episode, we saw his crystal ball missing.

Now, not all have the same color crystal, for instance, the color of Daemon’s crystal is black, while the one before the King’s seat looks a little burnt.
