Why Did Max Leak Drea’s Video In ‘Do Revenge’?
‘Do Revenge’ is a funny teen movie. And what is a teen movie with no drama? If you have watched it you might be thinking, why did Max leak Drea’s Video? Was it really him who leaked it?
The movie starts with a party that Drea’s friends threw for her. She is the most popular girl in high school, and get’s featured in Teen Vogue. Her boyfriend, Max supports her and is happy for her.
Max then releases a private video of Drea and sends it to the entire school. And when Drea confronts him about it, he refuses and tells her, his phone was hacked. Drea does not believe anything he says and decides to seek revenge.
Drea and her new best friend Eleanor, help each other seek revenge. And finally at the ‘Admissions Party,’ they get Max to confess that he leaked the video.
Max tells them that he hated Drea because he thought she used her. He was the one who helped her get popular and he felt terrible that she didn’t even thank her. And when Drea got into a Teen Vogue video, it was his breaking point. He was jealous that his Drea was getting more successful and popular than him.
If you haven’t watched Do Revenge, it is about how Popular Drea wants revenge on her boyfriend for publishing her sex tape, and exchange student Eleanor is haunted by a rumor. The two teenagers team up to take action against their tormentors. You can now watch it on Netflix.
