While we got to meet some of the siblings of Morpheus, there was still one that did not have their sigil in the gallery. So if you want to avoid spoilers, we advise you to refrain from reading hereon.
Who is the missing Endless?
Well, we do not find out who the missing Endless is but from the clues we picked up throughout the first season, we could say it might be Destruction.
Even though we are not entirely sure about the derivation, we hope you could look into the clues given by the series and come up with your theories.
How many Endless are there?
For one, we can see that there are seven sigils in the gallery of each Endless’ palace. We get to meet our very own handsome Endless Dream and then the kind but incredibly stunning Endless, Death.
We get to discover that Rose Walker and her brother are, after all, the children of an Endless and that it is none other than, Desire himself.
We also get a scene with Despair, who is seen plotting with Desire to teach Dream a lesson.
So, with a total of the seven Endless out there, only one was mentioned as the prodigal son. And we guess that it is Destruction.
Who is the Golden Eyed man in The Sandman?
Once we know about the Vortex’s fate, we also see that Desire messed with the order of Dream’s world just to make him harm his own blood and let him face the consequences.
But fortunately, Morpheus was able to find out about the trick Desire had made. So, yes, the golden-eyed man with whom Unity had a baby is Desire. Rose Walker and Jed Walker are thus children of an Endless.
