Who Is Kang The Conqueror, And What Are His Powers?

Kang the Conqueror is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. The character is most frequently depicted as an opponent of the Avengers. Kang the conquerer doesn’t have any real powers. He came from the future and is said to have stolen and used Tony Stark’s technology to do time travel to conquer different places.

Kang the Conqueror is Nathaniel Richards, a direct blood relative of the Fantastic Four’s Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards. Kang has no superhuman powers in and of his own body; he has a suit of armor that is equipped with 31st Century technology. This armor was inspired by Nathaniel Richards’ admiration for Victor von Doom’s Dr. Doom armor, and has many of the same capabilities.

Kang’s armor has an exoskeleton that boosts his physical strength to the five (5) ton level. It can also generate a nearly impenetrable force field, although Thor was once able to pierce this field by hurling Mjolnir through it. The armor has gauntlets that can generate and fire tremendously powerful bolts of energy, and it is equipped with a life support system that can meet Kang’s natural biological needs and processes for five days before it requires replenishment. Lastly, and certainly not least of all, Kang can travel through time to any point or period that he might wish to visit.

Nathaniel Richards is highly intelligent, but not quite as smart as Reed Richards or Victor von Doom. He has the advantage of accessing technologically sophisticated and advanced equipment and materials that they do not have access to, however.
