Marvel’s What If…? Is approaching its release date and fans couldn’t be more excited. Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is here to explore yet another exciting adventure with the new show. What If…? is set to be a new animated show revolving around the question: “What If?”

There are already many theories and speculated spoilers surrounding the show ahead of its release. What If…? is a show based on the comic book anthology of the same name. It first debuted back in 1977 with a total of 13 volumes.

President Kevin Feige from Marvel Studios revealed on July 8 that What If…? Will be released on August 11. Similar to other Marvel shows like Loki, What If…? Will also be released in episodes and will air on a weekly basis.

Cast

Many of the MCU’s iconic actors will be seen on the show as their roles in animated form. Among the cast, actors Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Michel B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, and Karen Gillan as Nebula are included. The late Chadwick Boseman also has a posthumous role in the show and will voice both Black Panther and Star-Lord.

Actor Jeffrey Wright is reported to take on the role of a new character, Uatu, or The Watcher. He will be seen as a member of an alliance race called The Watcher who observes the multiverse in the show.
