What Are The Powers of Every Eternal?
Marvel dropped the much-awaited trailer of Eternals recently, and fans are still overwhelmed with all the clues and puzzles they could find with the trailer.
The trailer was wholesome, filled with a lot of clues, and giving us an idea of how long ago the Eternals came to settle on Earth.
We also know that they are aware of what is happening and know about Steve Rogers and Tony Stark’s death. So, that means something big is about to happen after the Endgame events, and Eternals are the ones who will be stopping them.
Seriously, if something like Thanos’ snap did not bring them out, what is that brings them out now? Anyway, if it is big enough to bring them out, then the Avengers would’ve noticed, right? So, will they be meeting or joining them too?
Anyway, here’s a detailed character description and powers of every Eternal.

Kingo
This character is played by Kumail Nanjiani. This Eternal, with his hands, can project cosmic energy projectiles.
Over the centuries of his stay on Earth, Kingo has become consumed by the love for fame, and to boost his ego, he is a famous Bollywood star (Indian Cinema).
Makkari
Makkari is the only deaf Eternal who is used to scout the planets for Eternals because of her speed. Lauren Ridloff plays Makkari.
She is said to be the fastest woman in the Universe, and her super speed is the power she obtained from cosmic energy.
A sonic boom accompanies her super-speed, but she is not affected by it because of her physical inability, which is a great plus in this case.
Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh is said to be the strongest and the kindest member of Eternals. He has the power to project a fierce and powerful exoskeleton of cosmic energy.
He is known throughout history for his fights with the Deviants. Ma Dong-Seok plays Gilgamesh.
Thena
Thena, played by Angelina Jolie, is an Eternal who finds chaos and the battlefield more comfortable than talking to people.
Her unlikely friendship with Gilgamesh, which has lasted for centuries, is something scarce for a cold and distant person like her.
Thena has the power to make any and all handheld weapons with the help of cosmic energy.
Ikaris
Ikaris, played by Richard Madden, is the most potent Eternal and the tactical leader of the team.
Moral, kind and charismatic, Ikaris holds the power of incredible strength, flight, and the superhero ability to project beams of cosmic energy from his eyes.
Ajak
Ajak, played by Salma Hayek, is the spiritual leader of the team. Ajak’s wisdom has helped guide the team since they arrived here on Earth to help defend humanity.
Ajak can heal humans and Eternals. And can communicate with the Celestials as well.
Sersi
Sersi, played by Gemma Chan, is the Eternal with an affinity for humanity. Sersi can manipulate the matter she touches, changing the makeup of any non-sentient material.
We saw her love for Ikaris and their wedding too in the trailer.
Sprite
Sprite, played by Lia McHugh, can cast real illusions. Her friendship with Sersi hides a world-weary of sadness because she’s been treated like a child by humanity for centuries.
But Sprite is much stronger and cleverer than she appears.
Phastos
Phastos, played by Brian Tyree Henry, is blessed with the power of invention. He can create anything that he can imagine if he could have the raw materials at his disposal.
Over the years, he has helped nudge humanity forward technologically while always keeping his brilliance hidden.
Druig
Druig, played by Barry Keoghan, can use cosmic energy to control the minds of men.
Druig has withdrawn from the other Eternals because he disagrees with how they’ve interacted with humankind over the centuries.
