Besides Black Widow, actor Scarlett Johansson has a couple of upcoming projects. From musicals to comedy, the actor has her schedule pretty packed for this year.

Although some of them have not been officially announced yet, here’s all we know about the upcoming Scarlett Johansson movies.
Sing 2
The first Sing movie was a charming animated musical comedy. Although it wasn’t as high grossing as other comedy animated films like Despicable Me or the Dr. Seuss’ adaptations, it received great critical reviews.
The sequel of Sing will see Scarlett Johansson again with Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, and Tori Kelly among many others. The animation is written and directed by Garth Jennings.
Sing 2 is reportedly under production and is set to be released on December 22, 2021. The plot has not been announced yet.
Little Shop of Horrors
The 1986 Frank Oz musical, Little Shop of Horrors, is one of the best movie musicals. Hollywood has often made remakes of these masterpieces and now they’re making one.
It has been speculated for some time now that filmmaker Greg Berlanti will make a new cinematic version of the musical. The dark comedy musical will reportedly see Taron Egerton and Scarlett Johansson as the play lead lovers. Johansson will play the character of Audrey.
Little Shop of Horrors is reported to be in pre-production, However, the pandemic has largely slowed down the filmmaking efforts.
Bride
While Frankenstein has been a forever iconic trope and character in literature, musicals, and films, the Bride has often been sidelined. The Bride of Frankenstein made her debut in 1935 on the silver screen.
After many years, thanks to Scarlett Johansson, The Bride will be in the spotlight again with this movie. In addition to playing the lead role, Johansson will also produce the film.
As Variety reported, the plot of the Bride will follow the story of Mary Shelley’s gothic novel but with a twist. A woman is created to be the ideal wife and the singular obsession of an entrepreneur. But later when she rejects her creator, she is forced to flee and enter a world that only sees her as a monster.
The Jungle Book 2
The success of The Jungle Book calls for a sequel and will be included in the upcoming Scarlett Johansson movies. The actor is reported to be seen in the movie as Kaa. Being a sequel to the 2016 film, The Jungle Book 2 will mix elements from various works.
The film is said to feature elements from Bill Peet’s scrapped material and from Rudyard Kipling’s original novel.
