The Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga has completely taken the world of weebs by storm with its innovative concept and impressive fight scenes. While many fans of the original anime wait impatiently for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, the studio announced that instead of an elongated second season, they’ll be releasing a movie on December 24, 2021.
Since the prequel movie will be released soon, many fans are anxiously waiting for more updates about any aspect of the movie. Fortunately, Studio MAPPA, who’s making the film, has recently released their first look of one character we intimately know from the original, Gojo Satoru.
Many fans couldn’t help but notice the differences between Gojo’s appearance in both the anime/manga and the released movie visuals. Read on to find out more
Appearance of Young Gojo
There were some notable standout features of Gojo when he was very young. He still wears his black outfit and sports his unique white hair, the stark contrast of which looked good on him.
Gojo’s eyes stood out the most and that’s something that could have implications for his Cursed Technique. So far, we’ve only seen him cover both his eyes with his dark eye patches or blindfold, an appearance unique to him.
However, in the visual recently released, we see that only his right eye is covered with a white medical cloth. Many fans have been left wondering why this is the case. Did something grave happen to him in the past?
All of us know that the reason why his eyes are closed is strongly related to the Cursed Technique he wields. Does the change of color from black to white have some special significance?
Plot of Jujutsu Kaisen Movie
The plot of the prequel follows the tragic romance between Yuta Okkotsu and his lover, Rika.
