Nippon TV’s Tsukimichi-Moonlit Fantasy to stream worldwide

In a press release , Nippon TV has announced the worldwide distribution plans for their first ever anime production, Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy. Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime to non-Asian countries while Asian countries will get access through Aniplus TV and Ani-one.

The executive vice president Kako Kuwahara said in the press release, ‘We are so proud to be able to show the series to so many viewers around the world so soon after Japanese broadcast… We look forward to creating new worldwide hits, enhance our global distribution of these series and, ultimately reach as many anime fans as possible, for many generations’.

  • Natsuki Hanae as Makoto Misumi
  • Ayane Sakura as Tomoe
  • Akari Kitou as Mio

The Plot:

The story revolves around Makoto Misumi, who is an ordinary high school student living a regular life, but who all of a sudden gets summoned to another world to become a hero. Howeve,r the goddess of the another world strips off his hero title and cast him into wilderness for being different . Through his journey he encounters several magical creatures and able to unleash magical powers and combat skills. But just how will he handle his encounters and survive in this environment? Makoto tries to transform the other world into a better place despite all gods and humans have turned their backs to him.

Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- (“En Route to an Alternate World Guided by the Moon”) is originally based on a light novel series by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto. The series also has a manga adaptation.
