And while they are not as amazing and ground-breaking as something like Batman: The Animated Series, we still have some really great Animated Marvel Shows that are worth a watch.

10. Marvel’s Spider-Man Ranks Amongst The Top Marvel Animated Shows:

 

When we compare this show to some of the other best and worst ones that we have seen of Spider-Man TV shows, this version of Spider-Man is not as bad as something like Spider-Man Unlimited. Moreover, it hasn’t aged to the point of becoming a meme, much like the Spider-Man 67.

The show explores the story of Peter Parker as he attends the technologically advanced Horizon High school. Here, he becomes friends with other geniuses, like Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales. He also balances his life as a student while being Spider-Man. With an okayish animation, fine VO’s and decent action, this is an adequate show.

9. The List Of Best Animated Marvel Shows Also Includes X-Men: Evolutions:

 

After the release of the first X-Men film, Marvel took the right decision in creating another X-Men animated show which would coincide with its release. This version follows the teenage versions of classic X-Men heroes. These include Cyclopes, Jean Grey, Shadowcat, Rogue, as well as Nightcrawler. In the show, all of them try to live average lives at a local high school. While not in school, they also help Professor X, Storm and Wolverine in helping Mutant Kind.

The animation in the shows holds up surprisingly well for something that was made in 1999. Even the voice acting is top-notch. Perhaps its most recognized contribution to the X-Men franchise was introducing the world to X-23, Wolverine’s female clone.

Honestly, there was a lot going against Avengers Assemble. While this show was nowhere near as compelling as the one that preceded it, Avengers Assemble did successfully create a solid, although an unremarkable Super Hero shows that both kids and adults would enjoy.

Leaving the already drawn-out story narratives of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Avengers Assemble mostly had one-off stories that featured the Avengers against the villains in a fight. Although the dialogue delivery was a little forced, the personalities of characters did shine through. Moreover, the show also delivered some really dynamic action sequences.

7. Ultimate Spider-Man Has Bagged A Spot In The Best Marvel Animated Shows:

Ultimate Spider-Man had a pretty big genealogy. First off, it was being developed by Man of Action. These were the creators of the Ben 10 franchise, which was a huge thing. Next, it also had the ultimate Spider-Man creator, Brian Michael Bendis, and Batman: The Animated Series co-creator, Paul Dini, acting as Supervising Producers. The Ultimate Spider-Man had Spidey working with Nick Fury. Together, the two teamed up with teenage versions of Nova, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and White Tiger to stop some of the biggest Marvel villains.

Ultimate Spider-Man still captured everything that made Spider-Man iconic. We saw him cracking bad-jokes, dealing with some team leader dilemmas, and much more. Moreover, we also saw him dealing with great responsibilities.

6. Guardians Of The Galaxy Is Also In The Top 10 Animated Marvel Shows:

 

The animated version of the Guardians of the Galaxy might be the closest thing that we will ever get to their version of The Real Ghostbusters. Like Real Ghostbusters, the show features the basic set-up to the 2014 film. It also features the same cast of characters.

However, while the Guardians were not as fleshed out as their on-screen counterparts, they still managed to capture the essence of the wonderful characters that they essentially are. Peter Quill was still the lovable numskull with a heart of gold. Additionally, Rocket was still the short-tempered rodent, and Groot was, well, Groot. The show, however, did manage to re-capture the same wit that we saw in the film.

5. We Also Have Wolverine And The X-Men As A Part Of The List:

Released to coincide with the release of X-Men Origins, Wolverine and the X-Men had everyone’s favorite X-Man taking the front stage as the lead of the show. After an attack on the X-Mansion, Wolverine had to form the X-Men again, who had actually gone their separate ways. The show was created by Thor: Ragnarök writers Craig Kyle and Chris Yost. Furthermore, it had some of the best storytelling and character development seen in the entire X-Men franchise.

Wolverine and The X-Men was one of the many shows that were created and released when Disney bought Marvel. Due to this, there were financial problems with the show, related to its financer. Subsequently, it was even canceled after one season.

X-Men is still one of the best-animated shows of all time, hands down! While more recent versions of the X-Men may have portrayed additional elements of the story along with the characters in a much better way, this classic 90’s Cartoon still remains one of the ultimate.

X-Men had amazing storylines, grand action sequences as well as well-developed characters that were true to their comic book counterparts. It also managed to handle the themes of prejudice and how minorities are mistreated in a way that no other show has probably done before. The show also adapted iconic storylines to the small screen much better than their film counterparts, especially with their portrayal of the Age of Apocalypse.

The show isn’t perfect, just like no other show is. However, it still holds a place to fans of Spider-Man, thanks to its great writing and its portrayal of our favorite web-slinger’s world.

A lot of Spider-Man fans consider The Spectacular Spider-Man as the definitive take on Marvel’s most recognized character. And they do so for good reasons. This show saw Spider-Man back in high school and dealing with a lot. He had to juggle his school life, his personal life, and a lot more things.

However, with Marvel Buying Disney and the show being produced by Sony, The Spectacular Spider-Man lasted only for 26 episodes and therefore ended on a cliff-hanger.

Interweaving the elements from both the comics and the MCU, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was a love letter to basically anyone who loved the iconic Super Hero Team. The characters of the show were just as developed as in the films. Moreover, the art style was exaggerated in the best possible way, with the animation being top-notch.

Blend that with epic storytelling and great VO and you get EMH. In simple terms, Marvel Animation created the closest thing to its rival DC’s Justice League animated series.
