Sei is an ordinary 20 year old office worker who is summoned by a ritual into a whole new world. She was brought into this fantasy world as she’s meant to be a ‘saint’ who would destroy the dark magic.
But the thing is the ritual summoned not only her- it also brought someone else. It seems everyone prefers the second girl over Sei but this is just fine with Sei. She leaves the royal palace and goes on creating potions and cosmetics in her shop.
An isekai protagonist with magical abilities and handsome men falling for her, this will be an entertaining series for isekai fans.
Cheat Pharmacist’s Slow Life
Another isekai story about a normal salaryman who gets transported to an entirely different world. However, there’s a twist here. Instead of magical abilities or superpowers, Reiji’s given the ability to create powerful drugs which can help everyone around him.
He settles into this new life and starts up his own village drugstore. This is a fresh break from all those anime series out there with super serious plot and action.
is quite a wholesome and cute story about Reiji helping fantastical creatures such as elves and dragons with their problems using his drugs.
My Next Life as a Villainess Season 2
Many anime fans didn’t expect My Next Life as a Villainess to become such a success but its popularity soared beyond expectations. We saw how in Season 1, Katarina Claes successfully avoided being killed or exiled as she ended up being transported as the villainess to the world of the last video game she played.
The light novel and manga both continue on after the group defeats the first season’s villain. Season 2 is expected to arrive by July 2021 and fans are super excited because who can say no to lovely Katarina and a series that’s this heartwarming?
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Reincarnated as a Slime made a bang of a return with the first half of its second season and fans already love it more than Season 1 itself. This is just the beginning though.
Rimuru and his Tempest village have started gaining more attention from the rest of the world and this attention has negatively impacted the village.
There are so many more plot twists yet to unravel and hopefully, the second half of Season 2 does justice to this great isekai series and also to fans’ high expectations.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2
This series insanely raised the bar for isekai anime shows when it comes to the animation. It is one of the most gorgeously animated shows without a doubt.
So it’s quite a surprise that not much talk was happening in the anime community about this series when it premiered earlier this year. This may have been for good though, as initial parts of Jobless Reincarnation can be quite hard to take in.
But the second part is returning this July with a major genre shift and we can’t wait to see how that plays out. Hopefully, the characterization would be much better and on par with its beautiful animation!
