Tokyo Revengers Episode 19 explored the lasting implications of the dark history of Toman’s founders on their battle with their recent adversary, Valhalla. We see Toman members trying to win against their much stronger opponent, Valhalla. 

Will Toman even be able to win? No one has the answers yet, unfortunately. Hopefully, we’ll get more solid answers by the time we watch Tokyo Revengers Episode 20. Also, on a sad note, Tokyo Revengers Season 1 is coming to an end and we can’t come to terms with this news.

Tokyo Revengers Episode 19 Recap

Here’s a concise description of all major events that happened in Episode 19:

• The tense epic battle between the two rival gangs Toman and Valhalla commences. Kazutora tries to hit Mikey, which Draken defends.
• Takemichi gets overwhelmed seeing the violence and chaos for the first time and starts getting emotional.
• Takeshi saves Takemichi from one unruly Valhalla member and scolds him for being too cowardly.

• Takemichi gets inspired and along with Chifuyu, they fight Valhalla members as a team.
• But Valhalla has around 300 members, while Toman has only 150, which puts Toman at a disadvantage. Valhalla’s members are older and hence more experienced and stronger.
• As they see Toman members defeated slowly, Draken swears to protect all of them. 
• Takemichi has reached his limit but his unfaltering determination not to lose instills inspiration and boosts the morale of Toman.
• Meanwhile, Kazutora, along with his Juvie friends Chonbo and Chome, start beating up Mikey with a pipe, though the latter defends them initially.
• Mikey falls down on the floor and Kazutora declares Valhalla’s victory. But it’s not over yet.

• We get glimpses of Kazutora’s troubled past and why he blames Mikey for everything.
• Kazutora and his mates beat Mikey repeatedly with a pipe. Mikey asks him if he murdered his dear brother because he was his enemy. 
• In a dramatic moment, he headbutts Chome and kicks Kazutora while Chonbo is still stuck in his leg. All three are knocked unconscious.
