Although many of us did expect it, the last chapter of Tokyo Revengers was still quite the surprise as Senju’s true strength gets revealed. She is not just Brahman’s token figurehead as Takeomi thought, but rather an incredibly powerful and formidable fighter who hid her abilities and real potential. It seemed like South was knocked out at the end of last chapter but did Senju truly defeat South? Will he get back up and fight more? What’s in store for Tokyo Revengers Chapter 230? Tokyo Revengers Chapter 230 is scheduled to release on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021.

Recap of Tokyo Revengers Chapter 229

In Chapter 229 of Tokyo Revengers, titled ‘Go Easy On’, we see the ongoing battle between the Rokuhara Tandai, Brahman and Kantou Manji gangs. The chapter starts with Kakucho finally arriving at Mikey’s location. Kakucho tells Mikey that watching from the sidelines is so unlike him and that he’d always wanted to fight Mikey.

Meanwhile, as Senju faces off against South, Takeomi tries to stop his younger sister from fighting South and even adds that he, together with Benkei and Waka can defeat the Rokuhara Tandai gang leader. Many of the onlookers believe Senju won’t be able to handle South.

Takemichi also starts believing this as Takeomi tells him that Senju was able to be included among the ‘three deities’ only due to First Generation Black Dragon’s support. But turns out everyone had underestimated Senju; she had even kept her true strength secret from Takeomi as she feared that her abilities would have led Takeomi on the wrong path.

Senju moves quickly and lands several hits on South. She is able to dodge South’s attack and rapidly charges at him with multiple kicks, all in midair and finally knocks South out, much to the surprise of the spectators. She then calls out Takeomi’s name and declares firmly that Brahman’s boss is her, effectively shutting him up and implying that she is the one who will be making the decisions here, not him.

What are Some Expectations for Tokyo Revengers Chapter 230?

Tokyo Revengers Chapter 230 will most likely show the fight between Mikey and Kakucho. While Kakucho is currently part of Rokuhara Tandai, he was formerly the right hand of Izana’s gang Tenjiku. His strength is probably on Izana’s level but we’re not sure how far he’s improved currently.

One thing is for sure though, he will definitely take severe damage at Mikey’s hands. Some fans speculate that before he gets to fight Mikey though, he may face off against Kokonoi first.

Also, the fight between Senju and South is most likely to continue as many fans believe that it would be a major disappointment if Wakui had spent all that time hyping up South to just have him defeated so easily in one chapter itself.

So in the next chapter, we can expect Senju and South’s fight to resume. South didn’t even get to show his dark impulses with Senju and even in his previous fight with Waka and Benkei, it looked like he was getting defeated at first but swiftly came back even stronger. It’s very likely then that the same may happen again and he’ll engage in a much more intense battle with Senju. We still can’t be sure who will win but it’s for sure going to be one hell of a fight.
