The Theatrical Re-Release:

The recently premiered Spider-Man: Far From Home will be getting a theatrical re-release with a newly added four-minute action sequence.

This is the second movie that was released as a product of the partnership between Marvel Studios and Sony and has been a huge hit for both the parties.

It followed Avengers: Endgame and thereby successfully pushed the MCU forward while engaging audiences with some classic Spider-Man actions and fun.

Box Office Reviews and Reactions:

The film has garnered a lot of positive and raving reviews from audiences across the globe, with critics awarding it with an “A” Cinema score shortly after it premiered in theatres.

Since then, fans have also been flocking to the theatres to watch the movie, which has now become the highest-grossing movie of all time by Sony.

And to celebrate this achievement, the film will be hitting the theatres again, with newly added scenes as a part of the re-release.

Re-Release Date:

The news of the theatrical re-release was officially confirmed by Sony, who stated that the film will have additional new footage of approximately four minutes.

This extended version of Spider-Man: Far From Home will premiere in theatres across Canada and the United States from August 29, 2019. Additionally, it will stay in theatres over the Labour Day weekend.

Other Facts About the Re-Release:

This re-release will be the second consecutive one for a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Earlier this year, Avengers: Endgame was the first film in the MCU which not only received an extra rollout but also had bonus content after the credits.

This would not be the case for Spider-Man: Far From Home, as the new action sequence will be added into the film itself.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see the new action sequence in the film which has been, ever since its release, attracting love and attention by viewers for its already existing action scenes between the actors.
