The Witcher: Will Geralt Meet Jaskier Again In The Second Season?

The last time we saw Geralt and Jaskier together, it didn’t end well, and many fans wondered if they would meet again.

This question which has been troubling a lot of fans, was even more troubling when some reports confirmed that Jaskier would have a very small role in the second season.

Jaskier has a significant role to play in the Witcher series. He is the one who adds humor to the otherwise dark series.

Fans even voted him as one of the show’s important characters even though he had less screen time.

Will Geralt apologize to Jaskier?

Well, Jaskier definitely deserves an apology, but I don’t think Geralt is a guy who would go and apologize to someone.

Maybe he might apologize to Jaskier, though, because he was very rude to him, and we very well know that there is a soft-natured guy under that thick armor and grumpy guy.

But Kaer Morhen is Geralt’s next destination, and then we hear that he will be seen in and around Oxenfurt. Jaskier has no business in these places, so fans have been wondering if they both will meet.

Here’s how Geralt and Jaskier could meet.

Geralt will be seen going to Oxenfurt to find out things about Ciri. A big fight scene is about to happen, and Netflix confirmed that by announcing those characters being cast for the second season.

One of these scenes has Philippa Eilhart, who will play a crucial role in the fight scene at Oxenfurt.

According to the books, Jaskier is also in the place at the same time as Geralt. Some events follow this meeting, and we don’t want to spoil it for you.

So, Jaskier can meet Geralt this way. Next is Geralt and Nenneke. Nenneke is a mother figure to Geralt, and she is also confirmed to appear in the second season.

According to the books, Nenneke knows Jaskier well and is actually not fond of him, so there are chances that Geralt might meet Jaskier when Nenneke is shown.

Either way, all this is just a theory. We have no idea if they will meet. There are also chances that Jaskier sees Yennefer and just complains to her about Geralt.

But don’t lose hope yet. According to the books, there is also this plot where Rience finds out and fights Geralt only when he finds that Ciri is under his protection.

That information doesn’t go to Rience that easily; it goes because of Jaskier’s song about The Witcher guarding the Lion Cub of Cintra.
