The Witcher Season 2 Has Good News For Fans

The Witcher Season 2 is one of the most anticipated shows of 2021 for Netflix, and there are some perfect updates for fans from the showrunner.

When will Witcher Season 2 release?

Well, as of now, there is no precise date set or announced, but Netflix’s CEO confirmed that the show would release in the end quarter of this year, that is, in the time frame between October to December.

That being said, fans have been waiting for a trailer since the filming wrapped up back in April. But the producers or the showrunner has not dropped a word about when the trailer will release.

Wait, there may be something that might interest you.

What stage is the Witcher season 2 in now?

In a recent tweet sent out by the showrunner, Lauren S Hissrich, the show is deep into post-production.

The Witcher season 2 has been unlucky ever since it started filming. It had a lot of obstacles, and after standing through all that, it finally wrapped up in April.

The show has a lot of CGI work to be done because of it being set in a magical, monstrous, and mysterious universe.

That being said, these works take a lot of time. The post-production work for the first season went on for six whole months.

The second season is expected to take the same time. If that’s the case, then the time frame the CEO of Netflix gave will be when we get to see the second season.

But you need not wait that long to see other Witcher-related projects.

What else does Netflix have planned for Witcher?

Well, for starters, in a month or two, we will get to see the trailer for the second season. If that doesn’t excite you, we don’t know what will.

Wait, we might know just the thing. The anime film that will introduce us to Vesemir is set to release before the second season.

So, there are chances that we might get to see the film in the coming months. We might even get an idea of what all will happen in the second season through this film.
