The Quintessential Quintuplets is coming back to us with a sequel. As soon as the second season concluded in March, many were left wondering about the renewal status of the show. The series has become the favourite of many anime viewers as the plot and the characters are rather entertaining.
The anime is adapted from a manga series of the same name created by Negi Haruba. The first season was launched in January 2019, while the second season in January 2021. The Quintessential Quintuplets Film: Release Date
After the ending of Season 2, fans were curious to know about the status of Season 3. However, a movie sequel was announced and slated for release in 2022, but a specific date has not been revealed.
On April 18th, the official Twitter Account for the anime confirmed that “The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie” sequel (Eiga Gotobun no Hanayome) will take place next year. The happy news was released during the anime Special Event 2021 in Nakano Sun Plaza.
The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Plot:
The story follows a high school student named Futaro Uesugi who becomes a private tutor for the quintuplet sisters: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki. They are known to be gorgeous but very troublesome and perform badly in their studies.
As the series develops, all of them fall in love with Futaro. At the beginning of the story, it is shown that he will marry one of the Nakano sisters, but the identity of the bride remains hidden from the viewers.
Regarding the expected plot of the upcoming film, there is no information as of now. Nevertheless, we can speculate that the film will continue from where season 2 left off.
