What is Expected to Happen in Episode 4 of The Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2?
In the last episode, we see Futaro showering in Nino’s room. He also talks about a strange encounter with a girl he once met five years ago in Kyoto. Futaro has never forgotten the girl ever since that brief first meeting, though he doesn’t even know her name.
The girl introduces herself as Rena and resembles one of the Nakano quintuplets. She tells Futaro that he’s changed and that he would never see her again. Futaro also comes to realize that Nino’s rudeness and harsh behavior towards her sisters is because she deeply cares for them.
Nino, when talking to Futaro, enquires about Kintaro. This makes Futaro stressed because Kintaro is actually Futaro with a blonde wig. He had introduced himself to Nino as Kintaro during that time. Ever since then, Nino has been thinking about Kintaro so she asks Futaro to talk to Kintaro for her.
Though Futaro tries to maintain his lie, Nino finds out the truth and angrily storms out of the hotel room. Meanwhile, Yotsuba is struggling to balance sports and her studies.
Thus, in Episode 4, we may get to see where Nino has gone to after leaving the hotel and if she and Futaro will patch up. We can also expect Futaro to be the one who helps Yotsuba with her predicament.
