The New Captain America Actor Says It Would Be An Honor To Be Disliked In MCU

Kevin Fiege Confirms If Captain America Is - Virgin or Not Virgin?

It is a big shoe to fill, to be honest. No one could replace Chris Evans as Captain America, and even Marvel knows that.

Are The Fans Ready for A New Captain America?

Captain America‘s mantle has been passed on to Sam Wilson as far as we knew it, but the government of the USA had other planes with the shield.

With the new Captain America being introduced at the end of the first episode, fans have been reacting a lot.

To be honest, everyone kinda hates him. Fans knew Wyatt Russell would be making his debut as the new Captain America, but still, it didn’t prepare them for this.

The characters in the show are not a big fan of him right now, so that doesn’t help the case either.

John Walker

As the plot goes by, we hear that John Walker, aka new Captain America, actually helps Falcon and the Winter Soldier so they may grow to like him later on.

Still, the character is not mentally stable in the comics, so, we may have some more negative reactions.

How Is The Actor Taking It?

Well, when the actor took up this role, he would’ve expected something for sure. I mean, Chris Evans has a worldwide cult following.

It would be hard to fill those shoes, but we need to give the new guy a break. After all, it is not like he has been replaced by this guy; the government in the fictional Marvel Universe has done that, so we need to cool it, folks.

But Wyatt Russel, who has been cast as John Walker, does wish that the people are a little merciful but is also happy to be a part of it.

Even Hate Sound Better Coming From MCU Fans?

Agree it or not, he is not doing this show for the goodness of anyone. The show is a projected mega-hit, and anyone would kill to be a part of it.

But that doesn’t give us the right to bully him. He is just an actor, and we can’t give him a lot of hate too. But Russel has been a good sport.

He has been sweet and humble and has actually said that it would be an honor to be disliked in the Marvel Universe.

People are probably going to hate it, and some people are going to love it……It would be an honor, I guess, to be disliked in the Marvel universe.

Well, he has a point, any publicity is good publicity, but we may have to dial it down a little. We should give the guy a chance.
