Warner Bros.’s logo for Live-action Tom and Jerry movie has been revealed which looks like a new cat and mouse.

Although the cast appears in live-action, Tom and Jerry are animated – as are the previous live-action cartoon adaptations of Alvin and the Chipmunks and The Smurfs. The logo reveals that Tom and Jerry’s logo is designed in keeping the focus to classic styles.

Tom and Jerry look lighter and brighter than their television counterparts, which have been updated for the high-definition quality of modern films. It is unknown whether the film will take a more realistic approach with Spike, the Bulldog, or his classic design.

Tom and Jerry stars Chloe Grace Moretz and Michael Pena as Kayla and Terrence working in a hotel where Jerry moved in. Tom tries to help Kayla and Terence get rid of Jerry, sparking the cat and mouse’s classic, chaotic relationship. Tom and Jerry appear on the big screen for the first time since 1992, and unlike the 1992 version and very much like classic cartoons, the two will remain silent.
