Izumo Ito’s The Demon Girl Next Door is a four-panel manga parody series written and illustrated in Japan. It was later published in the seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat by Houbunsha.
Yuko Yoshida awakens one day with horns and a tail, discovering she is the descendant of a dark clan sentenced to poverty by the opposing light clan. Yuko is assigned the task of beating the town’s local magical girl, Momo Chiyoda, in order to restore her clan’s prestige.

Momo commences establishing Shamiko’s internet connection for Ryoko’s homework on their family computer. Momo attempts to focus on passwords and parental settings as Shamiko continues to nag her about the internet. Shamiko appears to feel that the internet is a person she would like to meet.
As Momo completed setting the internet, Shamiko recounted her talk with Mikan the day before. They were talking about Chitchatter, an anime equivalent of Twitter with 40 million subscribers across the world.
Shamiko’s eyes glitter with excitement because she could finally be able to watch Momo’s personal matters after she has created an account. Momo, on the other hand, is adamant about educating Shamiko about the perils of the internet.
