Lyrics of SiM’s The Rumbling
The opening song of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 is called “The Rumbling” by SiM. The lyrics of the song are a major stand-out feature.
One verse of The Rumbling reads:
If I lose it all, slip and fall
I will never look away
if I lose it all, lose it all, lose it all
if I lose it all outside the wall
live to die another day
The band SiM had written the song after their songwriter went through the entire narrative of the massively popular series Attack on Titan. The verse above is a reference to the protagonist Eren’s predicament as he realized how dire the future of the Eldians was becoming in the outside world.
The outside world is hell-bent on making Paradis Island the enemy, the source of all destruction. They are willing to undertake the drastic step to eliminate all the Eldians from the world.

Eren, knowing this, will have to make the decision whether to unleash the Rumbling or not. The Rumbling is the only device left in the Eldians’ hands which still ironically ensures their safety and continued existence. Through this step, there will be a genocide of the world’s remaining inhabitants.

The lyrics of the song “The Rumbling” perfectly describe Eren Yeager’s dilemma after he has received the power to change the world. What will he do? Only time and circumstances will tell.
“The Rumbling” Makes You Want To Headbang To Genocide
Moreover, this time, the opening theme is a heavy metal song accompanied by fast-paced beats, which made many fans comment on how it made them want to headbang. This is fearfully dark and morbid since you’re listening to a song which makes you want to headbang to genocide.
One user, TheSilverSeraphim, commented on Reddit, “If the Rumbling is so bad, why Is the theme song so good?”. We couldn’t have agreed more. Another user, asilvertintedrose, humorously commented, “Me and the bois playing this as we commit war crimes.”

Opening Song Video: Insights
The visuals are stunning and have clues to what might happen in the upcoming episodes of Attack on Titan Season 4. We witness fragments of the Rumbling in action in the opening sequence, which takes the form of hundreds of huge giants moving across the earth, crushing everything in their path.
Mikasa can be seen, for the first time since we met her, removing her priceless red scarf (the one Eren gifted her). Annie, who hasn’t been seen since Season 1, makes a cameo, which could indicate that she will return.
The Entire Lyrics Of The Rumbling
Rumbling, Rumbling, it’s coming
Rumbling, Rumbling
Beware
Coming for you
All I ever wanted to do was do right things
I never wanted to be the king, I swear
all I ever wanted to do was save your life
I never wanted to grab a knife, I swear
Tearless, fearless, burning, burning
You tell me what have I missed
still wandering in the deep mist
If I lose it all, slip and fall
I will never look away
if I lose it all, lose it all, lose it all
if I lose it all outside the wall
live to die another day
I don’t want anything
I’m just here to…
Beware
Rumbling, Rumbling, it’s coming
Rumbling, Rumbling
