Silver Surfer Project may be in Work as per Reports

Even before the upcoming Fantastic Four movie in 2024, The Silver Surfer might be coming on Disney Plus. A Silver Surfer TV special may be coming to Disney Plus sooner rather than later, according to a report posted on the entertainment news website Cosmic Circus.

There are currently few project specifics available. According to numerous sources, the presentation will take place in a remote region of the universe rather than on Earth. The Silver Surfer won’t engage with any MCU characters, it was also said.

The fact that it was scheduled to debut before Fantastic Four, however, suggests that they are related. Galactus is one of the Fantastic Four’s principal adversaries. After Phase Six finishes with Avengers: The Secret Wars, there will be some type of continuity to the chronology thanks to the Silver Surfer’s entrance into the MCU.

Can Silver Surfer Come too Soon?

This sudden appearance of the Silver Surfer in the MCU is a significant surprise, especially considering that Galactus should be joining him, probably in the Disney+ special. Galactus may not take center stage for long, though, as Kang the Conqueror is already set to serve as the Multiverse Saga’s major foe to close it out.

Radd was an astronomer from the planet Zenn-La in the comic books. Galactus, the planet devourer, was about to devour his homeworld until he agreed to function as the cosmic being’s herald. Radd was converted into the Silver Surfer by Galactus, who gave him the mission of seeking new planets to ingest. Radd has acted as a villain in multiple Fantastic Four storylines and is capable of destroying entire solar systems and planets while assuming the identity of the Silver Surfer.

Audiences can anticipate a Silver Surfer Disney+ special to air in either late 2024 or early 2025 since the upcoming Fantastic Four movie is presently scheduled to launch in February 2025. There have been rumors concerning the Fantastic Four’s much-awaited MCU debut, which Matt Shakman of WandaVision will direct. Although some actors have reportedly expressed interest in playing a member of Marvel’s well-known comic book family, no casting information has yet been made public.
