Shingeki no Kyojin premiered a new episode of its anime series last Sunday, and announced that the final season will have a second part. The joy of the fans at the news was mixed with concern—because they will have to wait until the launch of the new episodes, but the manga on which the series is based will end in the coming days. The biggest problem is spoilers! That is why the producers have a plan to avoid them.
Part 2 of season 4 is scheduled to premiere in the winter of Japan, which runs from December 2021 to March 2022. Meanwhile, the manga is supposed to end on April 9, 2021. In this way, eight months will pass between the closing of the manga and the premiere of the episodes in the anime. That’s considerable time for those who read the books to spoil those who did not.
“Regarding the illegal upload and the leak prior to the launch of Attack on Titan we have begun to take legal action against various accounts and individuals. We will take action against the illegal upload of images and texts regardless of the country,” published the Kōdansha editorial in its Twitter account to judicially warn those who make spoilers.
The measures are focused on the release of chapter 139 that will end the entire story, which has a total of 34 volumes. Until the latest premiere it was impossible to prevent social networks from filling up with spoilers, and there are even users who are dedicated to detailing step by step of what the episode consists of.
In the last few hours, Hajime Isayama, the author of the manga, has submitted the manuscript with the epilogue of the series and the final pay-off is approaching. The fans have organized themselves on social networks so as not to spoil anything and respect those who only watch the anime.
