Avengers: Endgame star Scarlett Johansson and Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost are engaged after dating for two years. This would be Scarlett’s third marriage. -She was earlier engaged to Ryan Reynolds and was then married to journalist Romain Dauriac, with whom she shares a daughter.

In the wake of this exciting news, it’s worth wondering how these two crazy kids got together in the first place. Unlike some celebrity couples, Scarlett and Jost kept their relationship status a secret and out of the public eye. They were waiting for some occasion to announce it.
Johansson had divorced from his second husband Dauriac back in March 2017. In May, gossips started coming out about Jost and Johansson making out behind the scenes at Saturday Night Live hit Page Six.

They were first spotted kissing at an SNL party in 2017 after she made a guest appearance on the show. At the time, a source told Page Six, “Scarlett and Colin were flirting and canoodling in full view of everyone at the afterparty, including the ‘SNL’ cast and crew.
One source told the outlet, “They were at the bar in front of everyone…they made out at least twice…Then, they went back to talking and hang out with other people.”

Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima asked Jost during 2017 Emmys about his romance with “a lovely blonde.” He was accompanied by his Saturday Night Live cast members. This was the first time Jost spilled the beans about his relationship with Scarlett as a couple.
‘She’s wonderful,’ Colin told Entertainment Tonight in 2017. ‘She’s pretty cool… It’s hard to have a lot of complaints, she’s pretty awesome.’
The couple walked the red carpet together at the premiere of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018. Still, they were hiding the romantic tag between both of them.
Most recently, Scarlett appeared as a sexy on-screen hero the Black Widow in the incredibly lucrative Marvel Avengers franchise. She is a successful actress and had a fair career until now. There’s a report that she is getting $15 million paychecks to reprise her role as the Black Widow.
There was another reason for the celebration other than her engagement; her happy relationship news comes less than a year after she was named by Forbes as the highest-paid actress of the year.
Having landed a plum role in the Avengers movies, Scarlett earned an impressive $40.5 million between June 2017 and June 2018, putting her far ahead of Angelina Jolie, who placed second on the list with a comparatively meager $28 million.
