In Sabikui Bisco Episode 6, Bisco and Milo continue their journey to Akita, with little food. They are held off by a band of gun-wielding children in a sandy and abandoned town. They are instantly taken hostage.

About Sabikui Bisco

Sabikui Bisco is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan which has been ravaged by an arid wind. Rust is all that remains. The cause of this desolate state is supposed to be Mushroom pores.

Bisco Akaboshi, known as the “Man-Eating Mushroom,” is a wanted criminal archer whose arrows cause mushrooms to grow wherever they land. The anime follows his adventures with Milo and Akutagawa the crab as they search for the legendary mushroom Sabikui which can destroy all forms of rust.

Recap of Sabikui Bisco Episdoe 6

Sabikui Bisco Episode 6 is yet to be released but it would be a good idea to recap Episode 5. The armed children threaten to shoot Bisco and Milo and send them back to Imihama’s governor, Kurokawa.

Sabikui Bisco Episode 6

Milo explains that Korakawa is sure to be reelected as the other candidates have mysteriously disappeared. Bisco says that he is the wanted man-eating redcap Akaboshi Bisco and if they take him to Imihama, they would receive a 800,000-sol bounty. 

Bisco and Milo are both handcuffed and led through the desolate town. Plum is smitten by Milo’s good manners. The people of the town stare at the two foreigners being led by the armed children.

The town of Calvero Shellsand Sea was carved out of a piece of Tetsujin that landed there after the explosion. Bisco is imprisoned atop a tower. Plum gives food to Milo. There’s a strange disease that every villager has on their hand; Kurokawa’s army told them that it is rusting. However, Milo clarifies that it is actually Shellskin. 

Meanwhile, Pawoo takes on a giant Arachnida about to eat two people. The grateful couple offers her shelter at their house. The old couple tell Pawoo that a Mushroom Keeper had spread Rust all over the town which cause everyone surviving to flee.

It turns out that the old couple is the bandits who have been luring travellers into their house and turning them into zombies. But Pawoo is too smart to be poisoned and she manages to escape.

Milo has cured everyone in the town and also hands the recipe for the medicine to Plum. Everyone’s attention is diverted by an attack by a school of Flying Blowfish. The children realise that they don’t have enough weapons to defeat all the fish.

But Bisco appears with a pristine harpoon and rescues Kousuke. While Bisco is preparing to attack the school, he makes a deal with Kousuke that for every arrow he shoots the child would name one station on the Toubu Shirakaba Line. 

Sabikui Bisco Episode 6

He gets the harpoon for saving the town. Milo and he ride off on Akutagawa the Iron Gazami Crab. The final few minutes show the governor catching an old Mushroom Keeper, Jabi, who had disguised himself as part of his guard. 

Preview and spoilers 

The preview for Sabikui Bisco Episode 5 shows the story moving to snow fields and the return of the pink-haired girl Tirol. The episode is titled “Companions and Prey” and it promises a lot of action. We’ll get more information about the governor and Jabi who he caught. It would also be exciting to see Bisco and Milo follow the Touba Shirakaba Line to the snow country.

Sabikui Bisco Episode 6 will be released on 15 February 2022.
