Russo Brothers still have a couple more weeks to make some last-minute adjustments, to their story. It sounds like this might well be the final figure. That makes Endgame roughly 32 minutes longer than last year’s Infinity War.

Disclosing the secrecy over the conclusion of an eleven-year story. One of the burning questions has been the runtime of Avengers: Endgame. Co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo have now made it official. Speaking to ComicBook.com, “I think its three hours and fifty-eight seconds,” Joe Russo said. He jokingly added: “We just sped up the credits is what we did.”

Three hours and 58 seconds will still thrill fans. Russo ensured all time to deliver the emotional punch fans have come to expect, alongside the blockbuster thrills and effects. Fans will certainly be rewarded for the three hours and change they’ll be spending in theaters. Anthony & Joe Russo has gone out of their way to keep nearly everything in the second and third acts of Avengers: Endgame out of the marketing.

The Infinity War clocked in at 149 minutes and packed a lot in. Endgame has a huge task to resolve all the issues created by The Snap. Endgame is also likely to be the big screen farewell for some of the most beloved heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Previous reports had the runtime at a slightly longer three hours and two minutes. However, this was based on reports from cinemas that were firming up schedules and will slightly over-estimated. This all was formulated to know the time that is needed for each screening including trailers, adverts and cleaning the auditorium in between audiences.

Thanos wiped out half of the universe’s population with the snap of his fingers. That left us with the original six Avengers and a few friends to try and put the universe back together. Marvel Studios has been especially protective over any and all details pertaining to Avengers: Endgame and even what they have shown still has left fans just guessing what it could mean.

It is hardly surprising that the Russo hit the 3-hour mark on Avengers: Endgame as that is the length they’ve been teasing for months. There’s no intermission included or ever considered so as to ensure the audiences which will need to be prepared for a long moviegoing experience when they do check out Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel and the Russo aren’t making a 3-hour film just for the sake of it either. This is likely the direct result of dealing with a dozen main characters and eleven years of history. All lwhile trying to properly wrap up the Infinity Saga and set the stage for the future of the MCU as well.

If Endgame becomes the highest-grossing movie of 2019, it could become the longest-running top-earning film of the year since 2003’s The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (200 minutes).
