About Record of Ragnarok
Record of Ragnarok is a manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui & illustrated by Ajichika. At the beginning of the story, gods call a convention to decide whether to let humanity live or die. The final decision is to end humanity.
But a valkyrie intervenes and proposes that the gods and humanity fight one last battle, as the last hope for humanity’s continued survival. 13 gods will take on 13 human champions in one-on-one battles in a grand arena to decide the fate of humanity.
Recap of Record of Ragnarok Chapter 61
Since Chapter 62 has not been released yet, we can go over Chapter 62. This chapter’s title is ‘The Pride of the King of the Dead’. The chapter opens in a room with tall jars containing strange creatures. One of them breaks free and starts running wildly. Adamas comes in and stops it.
He asks Beelzebub why he has been making these creatures. Beelzebub deflects the question by saying that Adamas’ body looks like it does not have problems. Adamas screams at him, asking what is he doing there. To this Beelzebub replies that he has been waiting to create something that would eventually kill him.
Beelzebub predicts that Hades would lose to Qin Shi anyway. They both watch the match on a screen. The scene shifts to the fighting pit. Hades is exhausted and acknowledges Qin Shi’s worthiness as the King of the World.
He slashes his chest with his trident and begins singing. An image of Poseiden appears in the back. Zeus explains that Hades, the King of the Underworld would do anything to win. Qin Shi is confused and slightly vary of what is to come.

Official spoilers for Record of Ragnarok Chapter 62 are not out yet. But we speculate that Hades will unleash everything he has on Zeus. The fight could intensify and Qin Shi might finally have to face Hades’ wrath. Fans would also know what role will Beelzebub play in all of this.
