Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2: Release Date and Updates!

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is a psychological drama adapted from a light novel series of the same name. Written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keeji Mizoguchi, the light novel series attained popularity among readers, which led to an anime adaptation by CloverWorks

After two years of its release, the anime has not returned to the screen. In fact, a movie was released after the first season and it made the wait for season 2 even harder. And hence, since then fans have been waiting to hear some good news from the creators. Here’s everything we know about the possibility of the return of the second season.

Will the Season 2 of the anime return?

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2 is anticipated by viewers since the first season ended on December 27, 2018. As far as the second season is concerned, nothing has been confirmed. However, fret not! as anime shows are known to follow this pattern.

The shows are also usually renewed after a gap of some years. Moreover, the fact that there are volumes left from the original material and also the novel being an ongoing series, we can keep our hopes high. There’s a high chance of seeing our favourite characters again.

Nevertheless, nothing can be confirmed until an official announcement is made. In the meantime, there’s not much we can do but expect good news to come soon.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Season 2: What to expect?

The plot of the anime is about a rather interesting illness called the Puberty Syndrome. It is known to affect teenagers, and Sakuta Azusagawa is the protagonist who comes in contact with the victims of the syndrome. Whilst lending help to whoever is in deep trouble, he also discovers his feelings and emotions.

In the next season, we can expect to see the sibling bond between Sakuta and Kaede that has vastly improved after Kaede survives her Puberty Syndrome. There is still an ample amount of the material unused, so it will be a continuation of the remaining volumes.
