It is known to affect teenagers, and Sakuta Azusagawa is the protagonist who comes in contact with the victims of the syndrome. Whilst lending help to whoever is in deep trouble, he also discovers his feelings and emotions.
In the next season, we can expect to see the sibling bond between Sakuta and Kaede that has vastly improved after Kaede survives her Puberty Syndrome. There is still an ample amount of the material unused, so it will be a continuation of the remaining volumes.
