Here’s a brief overview of what transpired in the previous One Piece episode:
- The episode began with Luffy coming to the realization that Yamato is actually a girl.
- Law leaves after he manages to accomplish his duty of safely escorting the Akazaya near the point.
- As the Akazaya and Izou march together, they meet Kanjuro and his subordinates because they smelled something fishy up behind their backs.
- Kiku and Kanjuro have a rather emotional moment when Kiku realizes that Kanjuro never loved him. Kiku, in a fit of rage, attacks him.
- Luffy and Yamato talk about how they remember their times with Ace. They recollect how Ace wanted to leave the island but sadly couldn’t due to Kaido’s curse and spell.
- The episode ended with Kaido’s sinister plan of the Onigashima Project set to take off.
