Recap of One Piece Episode 1008:
In Episode 1008 the action continues from where we last left off. In this installment we see Queen unleashing a virus upon all those present there. Only one person has the privilege of having the antidote, Apoo. However, now everyone is after him. Zoro and Drake join forces and pursue Apoo, who does not plan on giving up so easily.
During all this, an Oni-infected demon bites Brook but shockingly he does not transform into one. This helps Chopper come to a conclusion that a low body temperature would prevent the spread of the virus and its effects. Unfortunately, Chopper himself gets infected and slowly starts to transform into ice starting from his left hand. 
Outside the Castle the battle between Big Mom and Marco continues. Marco gets overpowered but not before he is able to burn Prometheus away. Big Mom then orders her son Perospero to shoot an arrow at Marco.
Nami and Usopp were also engaged in a fierce battle with Ulti and Pay-Pay. Ulti ended up headbutting and injuring both of them. Ulti tells Nami that Luffy does not have what it takes to be the Pirate KIng. Nami in return remembers all those times when Luffy helped her out. She then goes on to say that Luffy will be the Pirate King.
Then just in the nick of time Tama arrives and saves them both from Ulti.

Preview of One Piece Episode 1009:
Episode 1009 is titled “Sasaki’s Onslaught! Armoured Division vs Yamato’’ and it will feature Sasaki and Yamato indulging in an intense fight. We might get to see display of true strength from both sides.
