One Piece Chapter 1040 Raw Scans Reveals Big Mom’s Defeat
The One Piece Chapter 1040 raw scans were released recently and we finally saw Kid and Law successfully defeat Emperor Big Mom. Read on to find out more about the upcoming chapter.
One Piece Chapter 1040 Spoilers
One Piece Chapter 1040 picks up from the fight between Law and Kid vs Emperor Big Mom. Previously, Eustass “Captain” Kid had unleashed his Damned Punk Attack, firing a huge beam of electromagnetic waves into Big Mom’s body.
But as expected of an emperor, Big Mom is able to withstand the attack. Their crewmates start to panic at the sight of the truly terrifying Emperor Big Mom and yell to their captain to retreat.
Big Mom then unleashes her own move, Soul Focus, and starts to steal the lifespan of the people around her. Nearing their limit, Law and Kid prepare for one last attack on Big Mom. Law activates his move, Room, around Big Mom which cancels every sound she makes.
Kid continues to employ his Damned Punk Attack and with the help of Law, they are finally able to overpower Big Mom. The emperor’s call for help is left unheard thanks to Law.
In the end, Big Mom fell from the sky, cursing Roger for all the trouble he had caused with his talk of “The Great Pirate Era”. She explodes on hitting the ground declaring Eustass “Captain” Kid and “The Surgeon of Death” Trafalgar Law the victors.
However, the fight is still far from over. Momonosuke warns Yamato about a looming threat approaching them. Momonosuke is resolved in defeating Zunesha, the elephant oden, for crimes he had committed 800 years ago.
