He realises he won’t be back once he’s finished with Freeridge, and he won’t even locate Cesar, much to Ruby’s amazement. Monse visits his father at his home and tells him about his time at the boarding school. 

Monse seemed to have come to his senses after the incident, stating that his time in high school was an issue. Unfortunately, her parents hosted a Christmas party at her home and even Ruby and Jamal’s families were called for dinner in the hopes that they would attend and everything would be fine.
