Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation To Get Second Season in July

Rudeus and company will be back in action sooner than many imagine after the end of part 1!

“Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” was released during this winter’s anime season. And despite having the occasional somewhat controversial scene, it has ended up being one of the most outstanding and popular anime right now. Thus, with the conclusion of part 1, many have wondered when part 2 will arrive—something for which fortunately we already have an answer.

The Twitter account has also posted in celebration of the continuation:

Part 2 of “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” will premiere in the summer season of anime, specifically during the month of July 2021. The exact date is yet to be announced. This implies that the division of this adaptation follows the usual pattern of anime in parts, in which the animation team takes a season off to resume the series.

With the first part of “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” already concluded, then, we can assume that part two – how many chapters is unknown for now— will continue to narrate the journey of Eris and Rudeus back to the capital, which has suffered heavy damage after a mysterious mana catastrophe took place unexpectedly. On this journey they are accompanied by Ruijerd, a Superd whose destiny seems to be divinely intertwined with that of Rudeus.

The team responsible for animating “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” is Studio BIND. It is a newly formed one that was joined by a number of veteran and experienced animators. So, with this being their only production for now, there is reason to closely monitor how much this promising team of professionals can achieve.

Synopsis for the series:

A 34-year-old Japanese NEET is run over by a speeding truck and dies. Before he knows it, he is reborn as Rudeus Greyrat, and begins a new life full of adventure.
