• The chapter begins with an announcement that Mash, who is supposedly a mere lackmagic, will be nominated for the post of visionary at a prestigious academy. 
• While Mash is playing some weird game with his friends, he finds a huge crowd of enraged men and women protesting his nomination. 
• They question how a mere lackmagic could gain the post of looking after God’s own festival. 
• While some of his friends step up claiming to be either his wife or agent, the crowd seems to get more enraged and murderous and ask for appropriate punishment to be meted out to him. They accuse his friends of being accomplices and hence sinners. 
• When his friend is about to be stoned, Mash arrives to her rescue. After some time, a magician casts a prison magic spell which he easily breaks.
