Deadpool May Show Up in Spiderman 3
The Fox/Disney deal officially closed in March. Disney owned Marvel has now got the rights to use the Fox film studio’s characters in their upcoming movies. Fox’s film studios, with “Avatar,” X-Men, the Fantastic Four and Deadpool, would pair well with Disney’s studios.
The buzz around the Deadpool getting into Spider-Man.
Marvel will be bringing the X-Men universe characters into the MCU. And though they still haven’t revealed exactly what they have in mind. So there’s a huge possibility that Marvel won’t leave this opportunity to get his own Disney standalone project will be Deadpool. Since there’s no idea about the new integration of the characters, Deadpool franchise may be the first into their film universe. However, despite script development on both Deadpool 3 and X-Force before the merger, there haven’t been any announcements made what Marvel plans to do with the character or those scripts.
Disney’s Bob Iger has been adamant they’ll be pursuing Deadpool sequels, with the aim to keep them R-rated. Also the producer, Kevin Feige has a dilemma on his hands when it comes to incorporating Ryan Reynolds’ popular film series into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Recipe of a Marvel hit flick.
A Marvel fan website, MCU Cosmic tonight told that Kevin Feige and co. are currently mulling over three different options, and they’re as follows:
A new solo film, such as Deadpool 3.
A Disney Plus limited series.
Guest-starring in Spider-Man 3.
That’s basically a recipe for a billion dollar box office hit. Still, there are only speculations and not any confirmed news, integration of Deadpool into MCU is not long. We imagine it won’t be too difficult given that he’s long been able to get away with breaking the rules of continuity.
A full 2-hour long film is commonly expected with new twists and turns. Deadpool 3 is probably what fans are expecting. but a Disney Plus series would give Marvel a ton of room to flesh out the Merc’s story and detail how he found his way into the MCU.
And as for giving him a guest starring gig in Spider-Man 3, well, it would surely hit if Ryan Reynolds and Tom Holland team up on the big screen.
Even making him a big part of their third Spider-Man movie, which would give Sony Pictures a cut of that pie.
If Marvel considers it to be a part of upcoming streaming service, Disney+, it would be great and more deep down to the story. It would unlikely a family friendly content and would likely not allow Reynolds to be as edgy as he is in the first two films. The mature nature of the Netflix- Marvel content may not be considered for streaming on Disney+.
All of these are rumors at this point, but rest assured that Marvel Studios does have plans for the character going forward. Maybe they’ll call the movie Deadpool: Annihilation…
While Deadpool has been widely-celebrated as being a brilliant stand-alone film, a new report reveals that the company has chosen to integrate the funny, superhero into the MCU first.
A sequel to Far From Home hasn’t been announced yet, but it seems likely the film will happen at some point in the future, as Spider-Man is one of the franchise’s most recognizable and beloved characters.
