Kevin Feige Confirms A Video Of Luis Recapping The Entire MCU Exists

Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige headed to Reddit this week to do an AmA (Ask Me Anything) with their fans

It was an ask me almost anything as of course there some things that the Redditors would ask that Kevin wouldn’t answer just yet.

A lot has happened in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Ant-Man and the Wasp came out last year, but that was the most recent MCU film. Next month, we get Captain Marvel, then Avengers: Endgame, then somehow Spider-Man: Far From Home will bring back Peter Parker. There’s a lot to remember after 10 years of MCU movies, with everything building up to Endgame.

Since Fans were flooded with questions after watching Endgame, Kevin still managed to answer all their queries. Here’s what he had to say for each question he answered.

What fans asked Kevin about Luis…

Fans have been demanding a video of Luis narrating the entire Infinity War saga of the 10-year (now 12 years) MCU up to this point. It has sprawled up several memes on social media among the community. It’s strange to realize that the video exists and was shot for Comic-Con but hasn’t been showcased.

On reviving the Marvel One-Shots and Luis recapping the MCU: Kevin said:

“Totally agree. The best thing about the One Shots is that we got to flesh out other characters. It’s tremendously exciting that we now have Disney+ series where we get to do that on a grand scale with many of the characters you know and love.

“We did a special shoot of Luis recapping the entire 10-year history of the MCU for SDCC when we announced Michelle Pfeiffer playing Janet van Dyne. I’m sure it’s around somewhere…”

This idea comes from the instant classic scene in last summer’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. It showed when Luis was given truth serum so Sonny Burch could discover the location of Scott Lang. That backfired a bit when ALL the truth came pouring out of Luis, including the story of how he met Scott in prison, re-enacting Scott’s relationship with Hope van Dyne and even a special metaphor for raspberry filling.

Ant-Man and the Wasp was actually the 20th film in the MCU. This all started in 2008 with Iron Man, then The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Marvel’s The Avengers.

Kevin talks about the future of Marvel.

Kevin said, “We’re coming up with many new, fun ways to explore the world around the MCU.”

Another fan asked about the future plans of Marvel. Kevin replied,

“We usually work with a specific 5-year plan at any given point but often have a general plan that extends much, much further.”

Kevin was tricked by fans with questions and one of them included the reason for some “forgotten” characters in the Endgame such as Abomination and Justin Hammer:

“I’m not sure I’d call them forgotten characters but I love bringing back characters people think they’ve seen the last of. For example, General Ross and Harley.”
