About Kengan Omega

Kengan omega is the sequel to the hit martial art manga Kengan Ashura written by Sandrovich Yabako and illustrated by Daromeon. The story is set two years after the game-changing Kengan Annihilation Tournament on Ganryu Island. It follows the path of an aspiring fighter Koga Narushima and the mysterious Ryuki Gaoh as they are tangled up in the underground world of the Kengan matches.

Kengan Omega Chapter 185 Recap

The previous chapter of Kengan Omega was titled “Shuhari.” The chapter resumes from where it left off. Lihito is surprised that his Razor’s Edge did not break Saw Paing’s skull. Saw Paing, on the other hand, is relieved and excited because he was not injured. Their internal monologue reveals that Lihito wishes to maintain a safe distance, whereas the latter wishes to close the distance by charging with all he has.

Lihito repeatedly low-kicks Saw Paing, but the latter does not even bother to dodge and continues charging in a Headlong Rush. He throws a punch at Lihito, who blocks it with his hands and tries to crush it. But he only inflicts a minor damage as Saw Paing escapes the grip with a body kick. Ohma comments that something does not seem right, and it appears that his techniques are controlling him instead.

The panel switches to Kuroki Gensai, who explains that something is wrong, and this concept is known as Shuhari. Shuhari is the stage of martial art mastery; the first is to obey the master’s instruction. And in the following stage, one must digress and incorporate one’s own technique. He observes that Lihito is still in the Digression stage, which is the most difficult and painful.

The panel goes back to the fight scene, and Lihito thinks that his body isn’t moving the way he wants it to. Kaolan Wongsawat says that Saw Paing’s sabbatical has paid off, and then a throwback scene of him training is shown. He is confident in his ability to win and continues to punch Lihito. Then all of a sudden, something clicks in Lihito, and he gives his opponent a brutal punch. Kuroki Gensai concludes the chapter by remarking that he has finally attained transcendence.
