For the very first time in a while, Edward Wu took some critical damage because of Kure Erioh’s deadly plan. With Xing’s menacing strike, Wu is in a tight spot which will only intensify in Kengan Omega Chapter 144. Not to mention, there’s the possibility of Tokito Ohma joining the fight too.

About Kengan Omega:

Kengan Omega is a manga series written by Sandrovich Yabako and illustrated by Daromeon; it’s the sequel to Kengan Ashura. Furthermore, the serialization of the series began in January 2019.

A Brief Recap of Kengan Omega Chapter 143:

After Kure Erioh kills yet another Wu brother, he’s all thirsty for the blood of Edward. With a nasty look on his face, he moves forward to attack him but there’s more to that. Looking at how strong Edward is, Erioh must’ve realized he can’t defeat him by himself and that’s where he needs the pawns.

Enter Kure Reiichi who was trying to backstab Edward but fails miserably. On the other side, we have Kure Hollis who’s also itching for a fight with Edward. Cut to the next panel and we see Ohma and the crew going to attend the party. However, the man senses someone following them and decides to see through it.

Turns out, Ohma was right and it was Muteba Gizenga who then relays the information regarding Kure fighting Edward Wu. And then in the next moment, Ohma is seen to head towards the fight to help the Kures’. At Edward’s side, he’s handling everyone quite easily.

Apart from tossing the powerhouse Reiichi like a baby, he punches Hollis and jabs Erioh. All of them fall to the ground and it looks like Erioh took the most damage. As the old geezer’s coughing blood, Edward says him to die as he no longer can withstand their tenacity. However, a surprise attack by Xing catches Edward off-guard and he falters.

What Can Happen In The Next Chapter?

Although the surprise attack did work and Xing was able to stab Edward, it’s far from over. Still, that doesn’t mean Edward Wu didn’t take heavy damage but it also doesn’t mean that Kure won the fight.

In my opinion, after the surprise attack, Edward’s resolve to kill them will only reach a new height. Moreover, in Kengan Omega Chapter 144, we might also get to see Ohma in action.
