Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu

After an outstanding season of Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu aired in 2017, the franchise was put on hold for nearly four years. It returned with more for those who had been missing the show. However, the season finale teased a movie announcement that never materialised, leaving us in the dark.

Studio Ufotable has finally revealed something that has reawakened our enthusiasm for the Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu anime.

The thrilling preview contains Izuminokami Kanesada, Horikawa Kunihiro, Tonbokiri, Yagen Toushirou, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga, the story’s primary protagonists.

They are pictured drawing their swords and knives from their sheaths and preparing to fight with their guns.

The Time Retrograde Army, a mysterious entity thought to have the ability to rewrite history, is this time’s adversary.

With such a terrible and dangerous foe, our heroes can only battle and fight until they finally defeat them.

In addition, the franchise released a new image of Izuminokami Kanesada with his sword in hand. We can see him sitting in a combat position against a backdrop of stunning cherry blossoms.
