J-Novel Club Purchases 5 Light Novels and 2 Manga
J-Novel has announced on Friday that it has licensed five new light novels and 2 Manga.
J-Novel, the digital publishing company from Japan, will debut two light novels immediately, and two manga series will be debuting from the next week.
Five Light Novels include The Apothecary Diaries by Natsu Hyūga; The Ideal Sponger Life by Tsunehiko Watanabe; My Friend’s Little Sister Has It In for Me! by Ghost Mikawa
‘Are You Okay With a Slightly Older Girlfriend?’ by Kota Nozomi; She’s the Cutest… But We’re Just Friends! by Akamitsu Awamura.
The Apothecary Diaries
The Apothecary Diaries is a story of a young girl who was raised by her father in an unassuming town. She is one day taken by the people to serve the Emperor’s Lady consorts. Her sharp wit and intelligence and her knowledge of medicine is her strong suit.
The head eunuch comes to know of her medical knowledge and puts her as the lady waiting for the Emperor’s favorite consort. Maomao is in charge of tasting the lady’s food beforehand for poison. Square Enix Manga & Books will be releasing a manga adaptation in English.
The Ideal Sponger Life
An everyday working-class guy is summoned to an unknown tropical land by a beautiful Empress, where dinosaurs walk hand in hand, and Earth’s norms don’t apply. He is asked to marry her and become the prince and live a life of nothing but luxury.
But all that glitters are not gold. The story revolves around him and his newfound dream come true scenario and if he will be able to leave his life on Earth behind. Seven Seas Entertainment will be releasing a manga adaptation in English.
‘The Apothecary diaries’ and ‘The Ideal Sponger life’ are the Light novels that have already debuted on the J-Novel website.
‘Der Werwolf – The Annals of Veight ~Origins’ (Manga)
Veight is a human, reincarnated into a werewolf mage is now the Vice-Commander of the Demon Lord’s third regiment. He is assigned the task to control and hold a small commercial city.
As a former human, he’ll need to leverage his ability to understand both sides to maintain order and to make humankind and demon folks coexist in peace. J-Novel Club is also releasing the original light novel series of this Manga.
