Ironheart Mark II Armor Spotted on Upcoming Black Panther Merchandise
We’ve seen quite a lot of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever merchandise and promo art find their way online over the past few weeks, and this latest batch might just be the foremost revealing yet. Merchandise for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reveals a brand new look at the armored superhero Ironheart.
Photos shared by @ironhnews on Twitter reveal a collection of figures for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever currently sold at Target, which provides a first look at the Mark II suit at what will likely be the final version of Riri Williams/Ironheart’s armor for her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. The Ironheart Mk II armor has been spotted on some Wakanda Forever merch. It’s a lot better than the Mk I suit we have seen so far.

Given a number of the images we have seen so far, this Mk II suit is certainly starting to look more like the Ironheart suit from the comics. This is not the first time images of Ironheart’s armor have appeared online, though previous images have shown what appears to be “Mark 1” of the hero’s suit.
This is often presumably the version of the suit that the character, portrayed by Dominique Thorne, is seen building within the official teaser trailer for Wakanda Forever. While one previous image was an illustration, a newer set photo showed Thorne in costume as Ironheart.
The suit does a wonderful job of emulating Iron Man whilst remaining distinct there’s no chance of anyone mistaking this for one of Tony Stark’s suits, but his influence is evident. The black plating appears to nod to the Black Panther’s suit also, hinting at a Wakandan influence in Riri’s work.
Thorne will make her MCU debut as Riri Williams/Ironheart within the upcoming sequel, before her solo Disney+ series, Ironheart. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11, 2022.
