How Many Episodes Will Be There In Witcher Season 2?

The Witcher season 2 has been the talk of the Witcher town, with its second season dropping by the end of 2021.

When Will Witcher season 2 release?

As already announced, the second season of The Witcher will be releasing between October and December. The head of Netflix has confirmed this news.

The news was further confirmed by the showrunner, Lauren Hissrich when she tweeted that the show is already deep into post-production a few weeks back.

It took the first season 6 months for the post-production work, so that checks out the news given by Netflix’s head.

How many episodes will The Witcher season 2 have?

Although the Witcher fans would love to have more, the second season will also have just eight episodes like the first one.

Netflix is not strictly following the number of episodes throughout the seasons, so that might probably be the reason. Don’t worry, the eight episodes will not be something you can forget that easily.

We will be learning a lot about Geralt’s past and other characters, so get ready and be on the lookout for even minor clues in every episode.

Will The Witcher be available on Netflix?

Duh! But we do get the confusion, though. Many shows on Netflix somehow end up not being uploaded on the platform for the final season.

That happens because Netflix does its job of reaching the audience, and the ones that made them end up releasing the important season on their own platform or other ones which they are affiliated to make more money out of it.

But the Witcher is a Netflix original series, so no matter what happens, the show is not leaving Netflix. Unless the second season is a flop and the platform decides to drop it, and some other company picks it up.
