Horimiya Season 1 Episode 5: Release Date and Other Details
Horimiya is a slice-of-life anime adaptation developed from its manga counterpart written by HERO and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara. It is about a sweet high school romance, where two seemingly very different people meet and fall for each other. Kyoko Hori is a pretty and popular girl, while Izumi Miyamura is more of a shy nerd considered by people as an otaku.
They have one thing in common though. Both of them are hiding their true selves from their classmates. They help keep each other’s secret and gradually start forming a deeper bond.

What Will Happen in Horimiya Episode 5?
The upcoming episode is sure to be full of interesting developments. Feelings are slowly building up between Hori and Miyamura and we can’t wait to see where it will all lead to. Let’s go through a quick recap of what happened in Horimiya Episode 4. This will properly show the direction in which the series is heading towards.
In the previous episode, Toru gets to know a student council member called Sakura. Sakura learns that Toru has a crush on Hori after he starts being uncomfortable when their classmates begin speculating about the relationship between Hori and Miyamura.
Meanwhile, Hori and Miyamura get to share vulnerabilities and open up more in this episode.
Miyamura tells Hori about Shindo, a friend from middle school and how he helped him to be free and unafraid to be himself around others.
In the same episode, Hori has a feverish hallucination about how her workaholic mother would leave her alone at home even when she was sick. She is very upset when she wakes up but is calmed by the presence of Miyamura and she asks me to stay by her side. He tells her he won’t leave.
Miyamura also finally opens up to Hori in Episode 4 about his feelings for her. He admits that he is in love with her, but does not check whether she’s awake or asleep. Hori does hear him and after he leaves, she considers not acknowledging his confession. She wonders if by doing so, they can just stay the way they are for a while.
