My Hero Academia’s manga and anime series have become a commercial success as well as received positive responses from both critics and viewers. It is only right that the creators have launched spinoff films, titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising.
Due to the success of the two movies, a third film is coming to us with another great storyline and action scenes. So what shall we expect from this upcoming movie? Will we get to see new characters? Read on to know what the makers have in store for us in the coming instalment.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission Release Date
The third film instalment is called “My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission” and a teaser trailer was released on March 27. It is set to air in Japan on August 6, but has yet to announce a date for its worldwide release. But rest assured, there is a high chance that it will hit the U.S. theatres as the previous films sold out.
In the trailer, the three fan favourite characters were shown: Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo. The trio also wears new wardrobes and gears, along with an emblem “W.H.A” on their shoulders. There are speculations that the logo might be a short form of “World Hero Association”.
My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission Storyline
In the upcoming movie, a terrorist group called the Humanize will be introduced. Humanize plans to annihilate the Quirks to wipe them out from the world. So the Heroes and the U.A. Academy united to fight against the curious group.
Furthermore, in the trailer, Izuku Midoriya becomes a wanted criminal for committing mass murder. However, fans find it hard to believe given Midoriya’s kind nature and selfless attitude. So there are rumours that maybe he has been falsely accused.
The official Twitter page of the movie also disclosed that a new character known as Rody Soul will feature. However, it is still unknown whether he is an ally of Midoriya or he is with the Humanize. Stay tuned for more updates!
