Spider-Man: Far From Home is now in theaters and marks the official end of Phase 3.

The tragic events of Avengers: Endgame may have closed the paths of some superheroes, Phase 4 may look into the situation and more movies to come forward in this era.

And of course, there will also be several Marvel characters with their own shows on Disney’s new streaming site, Disney+.

The official release dates

Spider-Man: Far From Hone give us the first look at the world post Thanos death. It’s just that after Far From Home, things are a little less . . . definitive.

Earlier we saw some slates confirmed by Disney for the future release of Phase 4, though we don’t have titles confirmed yet.

It looks like Disney will make official announcements at their Hall H panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they only confirmed projects that are already known to be in development and release in the coming years.

Black Widow

The stand-alone film about the Avengers’ Black Widow doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but we do know that the story is reportedly taking place before the first Avengers movie, so we might get to see a bit of the spy-turned-heroine’s origin story.

Considering that Black Widow is likely the next movie to enter production, we think it’s a fair guess that this will be the Marvel film to drop on May 1, 2020.

Black Panther 2

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, a sequel to 2018’s Black Panther is already a given.

The movie was a record-breaking smash hit and universally loved, plus we all want to go back to Wakanda!

It’s been rumored that Ryan Coogler has signed up to direct the follow-up, and we cannot wait to see what he comes up with for the sequel.

Since any work on the film has been very hush-hush, we’ll put this one around the Feb. 12, 2021 date, which would make its release around three years after the first.

The Eternals

Another cosmic superhero team is joining the Marvel roaster! Based on Jack Kirby’s comics, The Eternals focuses on a cosmic group called the Celestials, which creates two super-powered beings called the Eternals and the Deviants.

The first star to be attached to the project was Angelina Jolie, followed quickly by Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Madden. Chloé Zhao has been tapped to direct, though the film’s story has been on the very deep hush-hush.

Doctor Strange 2

After years of rumors, Marvel is finally pushing ahead with Doctor Strange 2. C. Robert Cargill will reportedly return as a writer, while Scott Derickson is on board as director.

Doctor Strange 2 Will Reportedly Shoot Next Year

Benedict Wong has suggested filming could begin later this year, essentially confirming this for a 2021 release.

Shang Chi

Marvel is reportedly fast-tracking production on Destin Daniel Cretton’s Shang-Chi, with filming scheduled to begin in the fall. As per leak reports, Mandarin will be the main villain, that could redeem Iron Man. The movie is also slated to release in February 2021 that may coincide with Chinese New Year.

Spider-Man Sequel

Tom Holland was originally contracted for six Marvel movies, which means that there’s sure to be a third Spider-Man film as part of the MCU. Holland’s solo Marvel movie Spider-Man: Far From Home released this week in theaters. As we know, Marvel is keen on making trilogy movies, so Spider-Man could also have a third sequel, could happen as soon as 2021.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was pushed back due to writer-director James Gunn being fired, and then re-hired, by Disney. It’s intended to be a swan song for the OG Guardians, and may feature Thor, who joined the crew of the Benatar at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Due to busy schedule of Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has probably been pushed back to 2023.
