Eternals Advance Ticket Sales Beat Other MCU Films On First Day

When Will Eternals 2 Release? Where Will It Fit Into The MCU Saga?

According to a new report from Deadline, we have learned that a true blockbuster is ahead of u when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s business. Deadline’s report and estimation have stated that Eternals advance ticket sales on the first day itself have beaten other Marvel/Disney films which were previously released.

Marvel Studio’s Eternals is expected to be available in theatres on November 5 and the pre-ticket sales for the lengthiest film in MCU is already making headlines. Insiders have said that the amount is only expected to go up from here as well.

Eternals Advance Ticket Sales

Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao, Eternals is estimated to have racked up $2.6 million in its first 24 hours. This is already a huge amount as it is about +30% ahead of Black Widow which grossed about $2 million during its time. Further, it is about +86% ahead of Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings which racked up a total of $1.4 million.

The advance tickets for the upcoming superhero movie began on Monday this week. So far, the Angelina Jolie starrer has had the largest day-one sales so far this year. Eternals is also expected to have a Hollywood world premiere this coming Monday.

Eternals Details

The upcoming superhero movie follows a group of heroes who have been protecting humanity and man for a very long time. Now, these heroes will come together and unite to protect the earth once again from monstrous creatures called the Deviants, which were thought to be extinct within history. However, as they mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite and defend humanity once again.

Produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, the film is directed by Chloe Zhao. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy serve as EPs. The screen story is by Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo, and the screenplay is by Zhao, Patrick Burleigh and Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo.
