Oda’s Hometown is Kumamoto, Japan. He was born on January 1, 1975. Oda was formerly Nobuhiro Watsuki’s assistant. Watsuki is the creator of the Rurouni Kenshin series. Also, He was Shinobu Kaitani’s assistant. Oda started to work for Shueisha‘s Shonen Jump at 17. In a recent Japanese fan poll, Eiichiro Oda was the 48th Most Popular Character in One Piece.
