About the Anime

Edens Zero is a Japanese manga series by Hiro Mashima, the author of Rave Master, Monster Soul and Fairy Tail, which debuted in the Weekly Shonen Magazine on June 27th, 2018 in Japan.

Shiki is a human who lives in a city filled with only robots. He has lived on Granbell for most of his life after being taken in by the Demon King robot, who became his grandfather figure.

Now he does repairs for the robots in the park. But the robots then strangely turn against Shiki to force him to leave the planet with Rebecca in order to fulfil their promise to the Demon King, who knew Shiki was destined for greatness. With the ancient powers of Ether Gear, Shiki begins his journey into space, where dragons roam the stars!

Edens Zero Chapter 183 Recap

The struggle for the fate of the four Cosmoses has officially begun. Shiki’s partnership with Holy and Elsie is on one side. On the other hand, there’s Ziggy, Deadend Crow, and Aconella. However, thanks to everyone’s efforts, they were able to break through to Lendard and begin the main fight.

However, it turns out that Elsie has a hidden link to Lendard that she hasn’t informed anybody about, and it might lead to a disastrous error. The truth about Elsie’s history is revealed! The Crew of Edens prepares to depart for each of their objectives after breaking past the siege to Lendard.

Shiki, Rebecca, Weisz, Homura, and Elsie will make their way to the centre. Meanwhile, Hermit and the others will hunt down Deadend Crow, with Hermit even granting Holy access to their ship’s armaments in order to do so.

However, the mission is thwarted before it even begins. Rebecca is so consumed with remorse about the Chronophage’s pursuit that she fails to see her fighter’s hit until it’s nearly too late. As a consequence, Shiki is forced to bail out to save her and Happy, separating them from the rest of the gang. Elsie, on the other hand, does not appear.

Despite comprehending Shiki’s plan, Elsie has no intention of carrying it through. She’s determined to stop Ziggy, and it’s not only because they used to be friends. Lendard, it turns out, was formerly the home of her now-destroyed Kingdom.

When her parents’ fixation with constructing weapons became too much for her, she exposed its secrets to the Kaede Cosmos, causing it to be destroyed. Now, Ziggy has selected it as his headquarters, and while she dislikes it, she will not allow Ziggy to keep it. As a result, Ziggy the Demon King and Elsie de Lendard prepare for a war for the ages.

Spoilers for Edens Zero Chapter 184

Elsie de Lendard is unlikely to be able to halt Ziggy on her own. For starters, the main hero in a Shonen Manga is generally the one who defeats the great villain. Second, while we haven’t seen any of them go full out, it’s clear from a glimpse that Ziggy clearly outclasses Elsie. She’ll either die or get battered so brutally that she’ll be unable to fight for the remainder of the time.

Hopefully, things will pick up more from here as the ultimate battle of Edens Zero continues.
